“The Voice of Altopiano del Sole – PODCAST
A multimedia journey to recount the territory through an innovative PODCAST platform.
‘La Voce dell’Altopiano del Sole’ is the initiative involving the six municipalities of Borno, Lozio, Ossimo, Piancogno, Malegno and Angolo Terme, which aims to recount the beauty, stories and local traditions, and is part of a digital dissemination programme that the Altopiano del Sole Association has been carrying out for years.
The online platform proposes a series of 36 podcast episodes in two languages (Italian and English), which can be reached thanks to QR CODE on totems placed in strategic points of the Plateau, or with direct access from the website: www.podcast.altopianodelsole.it.
Inclusivity and accessibility
Each audio track offers a narration rich in details and nuances, ranging from fascinating tales, unpublished curiosities and in-depth information on the natural, historical and cultural heritage of the area. The project focuses on inclusivity and accessibility: the content is designed to ensure usability for people with hearing impairment and deafness, through transcriptions that guarantee ‘reading mode’.
A smart tool for getting to know the territory
‘The voice of the Altopiano del Sole’ aims not only to highlight the beauty and richness of the territory, but also to arouse increasing interest from a heterogeneous public, which includes both local tourism and Italian and international tourists.
‘Enhancement also passes through knowledge,’ emphasises Giorgio Buzzi, President of the Altopiano del Sole Association, “and this project was born from the idea of creating an innovative tool to tell and enhance our territory. We wanted all this to be accessible and in a modern format, easily usable by everyone. This is how the podcast platform was born, a means of literally bringing “the voice” of our territory to anyone who wants to listen to it, wherever they are, without barriers or distances’.
The podcast platform is the result of a shared project between the municipalities of Borno, Lozio, Ossimo, Piancogno, Malegno and Angolo Terme, which once again demonstrated that working together is the best way to realise projects of great value and synergy to promote a shared territorial identity. The project was developed by the Area Élite agency of Pisogne, which since 2020 has supported the association of the six municipalities in all communication activities and territorial marketing.
In fact, the Altopiano del Sole represents an inter-municipal territory, within the district of Valle Camonica – Valle dei Segni, characterised by shared planning, strategy and communication.
Press conference
On Tuesday 27 May, the press conference for the presentation of the podcast platform took place at the Assocamuna headquarter in Cividate Camuno, with speeches by Giorgio Buzzi, President of the Altopiano del Sole Association, Priscilla Ziliani, Councillor for Culture, Sport and Tourism of the Mountain Community of Valle Camonica, Federica Bonetti, Founder and CEO of Area Élite, Daniel Guarinoni vice-president of the Altopiano del Sole Association, Cristian Zanelli, mayor of Angolo Terme, and Natale Gemmi, mayor of Lozio.
