JUNE: BETWEEN NATURE AND ENTERTAINMENT ON THE ALTOPIANO DEL SOLE
June has just begun and the Altopiano del Sole is ready to welcome the arrival of the new month with open arms, inaugurating the start of a period full of events and activities for everyone.
Nature, sport, innovation, entertainment: we don’t miss a thing, to offer inhabitants and visitors a varied calendar of appointments and experience the magic of this season at its best.

BORNO TO BE DISCOVERED – FROM 2 TO 4 JUNE – BORNO
After the success of April, the guided tours to discover Borno together with Professor Francesco Inversini return for the 2 June weekend. A tour inside Villa Guidetti is scheduled for Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, while on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning there will be a visit to the churchyard, the oratory and the little church of San’Antonio, where the fresco by Callisto Piazza is preserved.
MOUNTAIN THERAPY – 2 JUNE – VAL SORDA (PIANCOGNO)
Treat yourself to a break from daily stress and frenzy in the silence of Val Sorda. On Friday, 2 June, a day of mountain therapy will be held at the Val Sorda refuge, with departure from Croce di Salven and on arrival games, activities, walks and lunch with friends. An opportunity to switch off and be in touch with nature in a fascinating location.
EZENDOLA BIKE – 4 JUNE – LOZIO
Would you like to discover the Altopiano del Sole on an e-bike? Then don’t miss the ‘Ezendola Bike’ rally organised by the Pro Loco Valle di Lozio on Sunday 4 June. During the morning, participants will have the opportunity to pedal along the ‘sky cycle route’, a particularly suggestive itinerary starting from Villa di Lozio. The route covers 21 kilometres and has a total altitude difference of 1150 metres. A lunch in company is scheduled to follow, subject to prior reservation. FOLK FESTIVAL – 9 TO 11 JUNE – MALEGNO
From 9 to 11 June, the traditional Festa Popolare returns to Malegno.
A much-loved event for locals and visitors alike, now in its 29th edition.
From Friday evening, it will be possible to dine at the food stand, which in addition to typical dishes also offers products from other countries. Following this, from 9.30 p.m. onwards, various concerts are scheduled for a weekend of music and fun in the company of others.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE – 10 JUNE – OSSIMO
Driven by a passion for robotics and artificial intelligence, a group of young people have started to develop applications and prototypes that exploit the potential of these disciplines in the Ossimo ‘forges’.
On Saturday 10 June, it will be possible to attend the presentation of some of the projects and explore the world of AI and its many possibilities in a more stimulating and intuitive way.
ALPINI FESTIVITY – 18 JUNE – TERZANO (ANGOLO TERME)
The Terzano Alpine Association organises the traditional group party on Sunday, 18 June. In the morning, the flag-hoisting and the parade through the streets of Terzano are scheduled, followed by the Holy Mass, the laying of the laurel wreath at the War Memorial and the naming of the square after General Luigi Reverberi. From 12.30 there will be lunch at the Albergo Ristorante “Aprica” in Darfo Boario Terme, which can be attended by prior booking.
